We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Secretary to join our team of Surveyors. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and be proficient in office management tasks. This role is essential for supporting the Commercial Property department ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing administrative support, and facilitating effective communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
Provide clerical support including typing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
Support team members with various administrative tasks as required.
Experience
Proven experience working in the property or legal is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
