My Client a well established Firm in Bradford are looking to recruit a Post Completions Assistant to join their team! To provide cost effective administrative support to the Head of Department and other fee earners in the team in the work of the department.

Main Duties:

- Undertake the post completion and file closing element of the residential conveyancing process including but not limited to.
- Accurately completing HMLR applications and using the electronic portal to submit the application, checking all documents that need signing by the clients have been signed formulating a checking procedure before submission
- Monitoring and managing and where necessary renewing Priority dates (OS1s and OS2s).
- Assessing and responding to Land Registry requisitions with Fee Earner assistance where necessary.
- Checking documents returned from HMLR and reporting to the client and any mortgage lender
- Managing files that need to remain open for the purpose of retentions. Reviewing and ascertaining whether retentions can be released and file closed.
- Ensuring no monies left on client account before closing file and sending to archiving department
- Reporting and updating external portals to confirm status of registration (e.g: Help To Buy Agency.
- Dealing wherever possible with routine client enquiries and communications.
- At all times to exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.


Skills Required:

- Someone who has worked in a clerical or secretarial role that has involved submitting applications to HM Land Registry for registration
- Accuracy and checking submissions vital.
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail whilst working in a fast paced environment.
- A pleasant but assertive manner in dealing with colleagues and clients, tact and resilience.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Efficient and well organised with good control of diary systems and competence in the firm's computer facilities.
