My client a well known Law Firm based in South Leeds are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join their new build team.

12+ months' experience of the following is required:

- Delivering excellent levels of customer service, at all times, to both clients and business partners.
- Communicating effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, in order to provide advice and assistance.
- Understanding and processing mortgage offers and chasing various documentation i.e. ID and searches.
- Using and updating a case management system with thorough and correct information.
- Requesting and checking searches.
- Processing transactions through to exchange of contracts and legal completion.
- General administrative tasks
- Setting up and preparing files
- Liaising with developers, estate agents, solicitors and conveyancers to provide support and updates


Skills Required:

- Must have excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Able to work as part of a team, as well as unsupervised, and be proactive in their approach to work.
- 12 months conveyancing experience or time spent in a solicitors/conveyancing office.
