Are you looking for a Legal Secretarial role with less typing and more organising / coordinating?

My client a friendly and professional city centre law firm are looking to recruit an experienced Legal PA to provide administration support to the partners/heads of department within the Corporate and Commercial Property departments. This role requires someone that is highly organised with excellent coordination skills!

Duties will include: -

Preparation of paperwork for team meetings, attend and deal with any follow up actions/administration e.g. debt lists, fee schedules and management information reports
Dealing with heads of department reports, WIP reports, incoming disbursements, unassigned time allocation and file closing
Preparation of bills including preparing time ledger reports, drafting bills and sending to clients
Organising meetings and diary management
Booking travel
Dealing with expenses claims
Ensure office filing systems are up to date
Take responsibility for ensuring the working floor is tidy and well organised
Liaise with other support functions, particularly counterparts on the other floors, and cover for each other's holidays
Provide administration support when required for other teams, such as holiday or sickness cover

To be considered for this role you must have: -

Previous legal secretarial experience
Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal skills
Skilled at building and maintaining relationships
Professional, proficient and proactive in approach
Fantastic oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently
Ability to prioritise, plan workloads and meet deadlines
Passionate about delivering excellent results
Thrives on a demanding schedule
Producing a high standard of work
A positive attitude
Willing to undertake extra tasks and support colleagues wherever needed
Accustomed to working to high levels of confidentiality
